Almost 20% of the reviews are 1 star and the main concerns why such a low rating is the machine failing within a short period of time or faulty and cheap made.

The Greenworks 16-inch 40v cordless lawn mower, 4.0 ah battery included 25322 uses the same lithium-ion battery as Greenworks leaf blower uses, cordless drill even chain saws. In fact there are over 25 in the tool range that you can use these batteries with.
With just one battery fully charged you can expect to cut up to 7,000 square feet.
If you are a Greenworks tool fan once you have completed the mowing the lawns, rip out the battery from the mower and chuck it in the trimmer or blower and finish off the job completely without the need for gas or extension lead.

Just like the 16″ and 14″ decks the adjustments on the 17″ is the same. Using a single lever with 5 deck positions on offer.
If you need to go lower in your cuts then none of the Greenworks range will suit your cut height. Maybe down the track, they will add a lower height until then we’re all out of luck.
In saying that, Greenworks 17-inch battery operated lawn mower uses the latest lithium-ion batteries that are 47% lighter than traditional battery mowers.
Comes standard with the 40-volt 4 Amp Hour battery and charger or you can opt to just buy the mower on its own.
You should be able to get around a third of an acre mowed with a fully charged battery. If you have a smaller size garden or lawn these cordless lawn mowers may be a better option for you.

The reviews on Greenworks MO40B411 17″ 40V Cordless Battery Electric Lawn Mower are very good. With over 3500 reviews left on Amazon.com, you will mainly see 4 and 5-star ratings.
Like all, there are always going to be negative reviews. The main negatives are related to battery death to which you get two years warranty and I believe they did have technical issues with earlier batches and now have been rectified.
Due to the positive reviews, we don’t think you should worry about a few bad ones. For the most part, this looks like a fantastic choice

If you are looking for information on the Greenworks 250050219″ 40V Brushless Cordless Battery Electric Lawn Mower then this part is for you.
This mower is the first in the 3-in-1 design that comes standard with the side discharge as well as the bag and mulching features.
That’s not the only difference between this and the small cut sizes above, are you now have 7 cutting heights instead of 5. In saying that the minimum height is still the same at 1 1/4″

A Great Improvement Over Gas
I’ve had my Greenworks Mover for about two years now. I use it to mow a 4000-sq ft lawn. Most of the time, I can get the job done with the single larger battery. I’ve also found that it works great as a vacuum to pick up leaves from the lawn and gravelled areas.

About 5 years and still going
I have had my Greenworks Cordless Lawn Mower for about 5 years now. One of my biggest concerns was how long would the batteries last.
Well, they have exceeded my expectations and are still going strong. My lawn is not very big but there were several times where the grass was very much overgrown.
I was concerned at first but now it does not bother me to cut the grass when it is overgrown.
I do have to go a little slower and may need to charge one of the batteries again but the advantages far outweigh recharging a battery.
The fact that you do not need to buy gas, change the engine oil, spark plugs, air filters, the list goes on so making the Greenworks cordless lawn mower a win-win

Can’t get parts
It worked fine, right up until I lost the safety key. I’ve been trying for nearly a year to get one. So, my mower has been sitting in my shop for nearly a year. The dealer I bought it from said they can not get in touch with GreenWorks. $400.00 down the drain.

Having a look at the customer’s opinions, most love it. The reviews are mainly 4 and 5 stars, and only had a few bad ones amongst them all.
Same as other problems above. All mainly concerning the batteries and how poorly they are lasting. Some uses reported not even lasting for 15 minutes and not even a year old.
There is a 2-year warranty but I guess it’s the inconvenience of dealing with customer service for new ones.
For the price, I would seriously look at some of these options here
